LaTonia is a client-centered and strengths-based care-focused therapist at Sankofa Healing Studio. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from West Chester University, a Master of Education in Elementary Education from Arcadia University, and a Master of Science in School Psychology from Eastern University. LaTonia is also a certified life coach and is currently working toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
LaTonia’s therapeutic approach is grounded in reflection, compassion, and respect for each individual’s lived experience. She works across the lifespan with children, adolescents, and adults, supporting clients as they navigate anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationship challenges, substance use concerns, and life transitions. Her work centers helping clients identify strengths, build awareness, and move forward with intention.
With over 20 years of experience spanning education, counseling, and higher education, LaTonia brings a steady and thoughtful presence into the therapy space. She has served as a former adjunct professor in Educational Psychology and draws from her background to support clients through both developmental and life-stage transitions with care and patience.
LaTonia is committed to culturally responsive and anti-oppressive care, offering spaces where clients feel supported without judgment. With warmth and consistency, she helps individuals reflect, grow, and take meaningful steps toward healing—one step at a time.
