Sankofa Healing Studio is a Black-centered, healing justice practice seeking an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW committed to serving our community. We provide holistic, trauma-responsive care for youth and adults impacted by systemic oppression, incarceration, and racism-based trauma. Our approach is rooted in liberation, community care, and African-centered psychology.

Competitive Pay & Growth

• Rate based on experience and specialized training
• Rate from $40.00 per session
• Professional development assistance

Clinical Supervision & Training

• EMDR consultation is available through community service hours
• Advanced training in somatic approaches, EMDR, and evidence-based practices

Flexibility & Balance

• Minimum 5 hours per week
• Hybrid work model (remote and in-person based on client needs)
• Part-time position (minimum six-month commitment)
• 4 Philadelphia office locations

Who We’re Looking For

• Passionate about healing, justice, and trauma-responsive care.
• Licensed in PA additional licensure in DE and NJ a plus
• LPC, LCSW, LMFT, pre-licensed with strong clinical skills may be considered..
• Experienced in individual, couples, family, and group therapy.
• Committed to working with system-involved, formerly incarcerated, and TGNC individuals.
• Committed to community engagement (quarterly service hours required).

Responsibilities

• Provide affirming, trauma-informed psychotherapy
• Utilize somatic, holistic, and evidence-based approaches
• Maintain timely and ethical documentation
• Engage in community-based healing work

Requirements

• Background clearances required (Criminal, Child Abuse, FBI)
• Flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends
• Proficiency in electronic health records (IntakeQ)
