Client-Centered Care Navigator
She/Her
Erica Evans is a client-centered care navigator at Sankofa Healing Studio with over 30 years of experience supporting individuals and families across behavioral health, education, and human services. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from West Chester University, along with additional degrees in Education and Professional Studies, which inform her holistic, systems-aware approach to care.
Erica’s work is grounded in empathy, cultural humility, and a deep respect for lived experience. She creates supportive spaces where clients can process challenges, gain clarity, and access the resources they need to move forward. Her approach recognizes that healing does not happen in isolation, but within social, educational, and environmental systems that can either support or hinder well-being.
She specializes in working with youth, caregivers, and underserved communities, offering support around trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, housing instability, and school-related stressors. Erica places strong value on early intervention and practical guidance, helping clients navigate complex systems while strengthening self-awareness and confidence.
Beyond direct care, Erica brings a reflective and empowering lens to her work. She supports clients in taking ownership of their personal narratives and building sustainable pathways toward stability and growth. Her work emphasizes steady progress, practical support, and dignity at every stage of the journey.
In addition to her clinical and navigation work, Erica is the author of Stop Hitting Snooze at the Sound of Your Alarm, a guided affirmation journal focused on reflection, intentional living, and personal growth. She also serves on the board of TMS.org, a nonprofit missionary organization, contributing to leadership development, wellness education, and global outreach initiatives.
At Sankofa, Erica walks alongside clients with care and consistency—supporting clarity, access, and meaningful change through compassionate, client-centered navigation.
