Relational & Identity-Focused Therapist
She/Her
Aspen is a Relational & Identity-Focused Therapist at Sankofa Healing Studio. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Rowan University, where she also competed as a collegiate athlete, and later received her Master’s degree in Counseling from Northwestern University.
Aspen’s therapeutic approach is holistic and relational, grounded in the belief that authenticity and honesty are the foundation for healing. She works with young adults, couples, athletes, LGBTQIA+ clients, and individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, supporting them as they navigate anxiety, depression, identity exploration, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
Her background as an athlete gives her unique insight into the power of discipline, mental strength, and balance—qualities she now integrates into her work with clients both in and outside of sports. Aspen is passionate about decolonizing therapy by co-creating collaborative, judgment-free spaces where clients feel safe to explore patterns, break cycles, and step into new possibilities.
Aspen continues to deepen her training in trauma-informed therapy, sex therapy, and couples’ therapy as she works toward full licensure. With warmth, candor, and care, she helps clients uncover clarity, embrace courage, and move toward healing and growth.
