My therapeutic style is community-centered, trauma-responsive, and grounded in presence. I believe healing begins when people feel seen, respected, and understood within the full context of their lives. I work relationally, honoring cultural meaning, lived experience, and the wisdom people carry from family, faith, community, and survival.
I approach therapy with curiosity and care, creating space for honest reflection without judgment or pathologizing. My role is not to define you, but to walk alongside you as you reconnect with yourself and make sense of what you’ve lived through.
Do you feel disconnected from yourself or weighed down by experiences you haven’t had space to process? Do you find that stress, anxiety, or grief show up in your body, relationships, or sense of identity? Are you navigating the impact of discrimination, cultural pressure, or conflicting expectations from different parts of your life?
You may be seeking care that respects your story, your beliefs, and your way of making meaning—without forcing you into a narrow framework of what healing is supposed to look like.
Healing is about understanding how your experiences—past and present—shape the way you move through the world. Together, we explore patterns, responses, and survival strategies that once served a purpose, and consider what you need now.
This work may involve gently unpacking trauma, reconnecting with your body and emotions, or examining how culture, faith, and community have influenced your relationships and self-understanding. Healing is not rushed or forced; it unfolds at your pace, with care and intention.
I use an integrative, trauma-informed approach that may include EMDR, person-centered therapy, and culturally responsive practices. I am attentive to the mind-body connection and support clients in developing coping tools that feel meaningful and sustainable. My work is informed by community-engaged inquiry and a commitment to moving away from pathologizing narratives—especially for individuals from marginalized communities. Healing is not just about reducing symptoms; it’s about restoring connection, agency, and a sense of wholeness.
Therapy is a partnership. You bring your lived experiences, values, and goals; I bring training, presence, and support. Together, we co-create a space where you can speak freely, reflect honestly, and explore what healing looks like for you.
I strive to create an environment that is affirming, nonjudgmental, and grounded in respect. You are always the expert on your own life.
If you’re ready to explore healing in a space that honors culture, community, and your full humanity, I invite you to reach out. You don’t have to navigate this alone. Together, we can create space for connection, clarity, and deeper self-understanding.
