Aliyah, hailing from Pittsburgh, is a graduate of Temple University's Counseling Psychology program, where she obtained a master's degree in education. Prior to that, she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Pennsylvania State University, with a minor in Communications, Arts, & Sciences (CAS). Aliyah's dedication lies in providing assistance to marginalized populations, with a particular emphasis on supporting the Black community.
Aliyah possesses expertise in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy, utilizing this powerful modality to facilitate healing among her clients. Through her integrative approach, she uplifts the community by advocating for their needs and offering support, while also addressing the mental health consequences arising from stress and challenging life circumstances. Her ultimate objective is to foster healing, raise awareness, and cultivate an overall sense of well-being.
Beyond her work in therapeutic settings, Aliyah finds solace in various creative pursuits. Singing, writing poetry, and engaging in dance or exercise are among her preferred outlets for personal expression and enjoyment.
