A flower starts as a tiny seed that needs to be nurtured to promote strong roots. We too are like flowers. We invite you to adorn a flower pot with affirmations and intentions. We will then plant seeds and water the soil. In order for the plant to grow, it must be watered each day.
As we care for our flower daily, we will also be reminded of the words we wrote. This serves as a reminder of what we need to pour into ourselves for emotional strength and growth.

When people think about trauma, they often think of it as a situation that happened a long time ago. The truth is, trauma/traumatic energy can be stored in our muscles, organs, an negatively impact our immune system. When we are traumatized, we become afraid of our physical sensations; our breathing becomes shallow, we become tense, and we are frightened about what we're feeling inside. When we slow down our breathing with yoga and be present. Yoga is a gentle and safe way for us to release the trauma stored within our body.
We advocate for and are committed to creating healing spaces that center people who have been directly impacted by mass incarceration. We offer therapeutic supports that recognize and name the harms caused by oppression-based systems like prisons and jail.
We work closely with organizations that are aligned with our mission and can provide appropriate referrals if needed.
