Jacqui Johnson, M.S. is a Pre-Licensed Therapist who has a Master's in Clinical and Counseling Psychology with a concentration in treating Trauma within Diverse and Underserved communities. In partnership with I'm FREE (Females Reentring Empowering Each Other), Jacqui co-facilitates a trauma-informed and gender-responsive seven-week empowerment training that offers guidance for women prior to and immediately upon release from the prison system. She uses strength-based approaches, cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy techniques, and positive affirmations to foster change and healing. She believes that reclaiming our past, provides us with valuable knowledge to protect our future, while understanding and shifting our present condition.
